Printing with Circles

Julie Booth is running a Scavenger Hunt on her blog to go with her book Fabric Printing at Home.  The first task was to find circles on objects from the kitchen and use them to print.  I collected a tray full of objects, but chose 3 for my printed sample.  Here's what I found:
And this is what I created:
I started with the bottom of the green plastic cup to make the first circle.
I used this wire egg beater that squishes up and down to make the spiral inside the circles.
Finally I added dots with the end of a cork from a wine bottle to complete the pattern.
Here's the finished piece and the 3 things I used to print circles.  Fun!

  1. Susan- What a gorgeous piece and I love how you fit those spirals into the circles made by the cup! Great step-by-step. Thanks so much for playing along and hope you join in for more challenges!

  2. I like how full your design looks, not skimpy.
